Originally designed specifically for OB/GYN offices with input from practicing OB/GYNs, AdvantaChartâ„¢ now offers an EMR system that is easy to use and follows the workflow process of OB/GYN, Internal Medicine and Pediatric offices. It is aimed at small to mid-sized practices that are especially challenged by chart maintenance.

In June of 2009, AdvantaChartâ„¢Inc announced the purchase of Appian Way Practice Management Software System out of Indianapolis, Indiana.

AdvantaChart is interfaced with the Appian Way software and is currently in the process of streamlining the interface and integration of this PM/scheduling software which will be marketed and sold as AdvantaPM. AdvantaChart will now be able to offer a turnkey solution for practices that wish to have both an EMR and PM together as one software system.
