Am I covered for stimulus package incentive, if I'm using or planning to use AdvantaChart?

Yes. AdvantaChart moves toward helping practices meet Meaningful Use status in order to receive EHR incentive dollars.

AdvantaChart is scheduled for Meaningful Use certification in March 2011 with the Drummond Group, a certified ONC-ATCB, in accordance with the applicable Eligible Provider certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The 2011/2012 criteria support the Stage 1 Meaningful Use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

How much incentive am I eligible to acquire if I qualify as a meaningful user of EMR?

Physician incentives are allocated in two different payment forms of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements in addition to grant programs.  Physicians can start earning incentives in 2011 by demonstrating “meaningful use” of their EMR.

Medicare Incentive:

Physicians can start earning incentives in 2011 by demonstrating “meaningful use” of EMR. Physicians can earn from $2,000 to $18,000 in a given year. The possible incentive will be offered maximum of $44,000 per physician, depending on when providers implement EMR. In order to receive the full amount, physicians must be implementing an EMR by 2012, otherwise; no payment will be made available after 2015.
